Education

I was educated in the Mobile County School System. I attended Dodge Elementery School, Dunbar Middle School, and I graduated from Murphy High School. I also participated and completed the Upward Bound Program at Spring Hill College. Thereafter, I attended Stillman College where I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology. Later,  I attended an academic program at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville called the Ronald McNair Post Baccalaurete Achievement Program. Last, I attended Grand Canyon University where I earned my Alternative Master's Degree in Collaborative Education.

Experience

I began my career in education at Mobile County Training Middle School where I worked as an instructional paraprofessional for an excess of ten years. Before I left MCTMS, I began working on my Alternative Master's Degree in Collaborative Education which led me to work at Leflore High School as a student teacher for one semester. Afterwards, I worked as an instructional paraprofessional at Augusta Evans for two years. Last year (2015-2016 school year) I worked in the Chickasaw City School System at Chickasaw High School as a Self-Contained teacher for grades 6-12. Presently I am the Collaborative Education teacher for the 7th grade at Pillans Middle School.
